Call for Presentations The LUG Program Committee is particularly seeking presentations on: . Experiences running the newer community releases (2.14+) . Experiences using the latest Lustre features (Client Data Encryption, OST Pool Quotas, DNEv3, PCC, SSK, DoM, Multi-Rail LNet, etc.) . Best practices and practical experiences in deploying, monitoring, and operating Lustre (also in the cloud) . Pushing the boundaries with non-traditional deployments . Performance & feature comparison with other filesystems Submission guidelines You only need an abstract for the submission process; we will request presentation materials once abstracts are reviewed and selected. You can also grab the source from git This major release includes new features: Client Directory Encryption A mechanism leveraging fscrypt has been introduced to allow file names to be encrypted on the client before network transfer and persistent OST and MDT storage (LU-13717) Network Selection Policy (UDSP) Allows creation of policies about which network interfaces to use under given circumstances (LU-9121) Fuller details about this release can be found in the 2.15 wiki page (including the change log and test matrix) Lustre 2.15.x will be the new LTS stream and a 2.15.1 release will be issued shortly to provide support for recent Linux distributions.
