[Lustre-discuss] Can a 1.4.x client mount a file system created by Lustre 1.6.x?

Hi,

I have two clusters, one is running Lustre 1.4.11 and one is running 
Lustre 1.6.2.
I have been able to mount a 1.4.x file system on the 1.6.2 clients.  Would I
be able to mount a 1.6.x file system on the 1.4.x clients?
