No.  Just stop Lustre on the node you want to upgrade, install the new
packages and kernel, reboot to switch to the new kernel, and start
Lustre again (if it's not setup to start automatically.)  You can even
upgrade some nodes before others since 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 will
interoperate.
