[Lustre-discuss] Interoperability beween lustre 1.4.11 client and lustre 1.6.server

Is there an interoperability between lustre 1.4.11 client and lustre 1.6 server? i mean can we make lustre 1.4.11 client talk to lustre 1.6 server?
I want help in this regard..
