[Lustre-discuss] Patchless client support for lustre 1.4.11

Hello Brian,

Actually I am not sure whether lustre 1.4.11 server is compatible with lustre 1.6.4.2 ****patchless client******.
We are working on a particular server which is built on lustre1.4.11. As this particular server is built on lustre1.4.11,we are thinking that ijn order to build lustre sucessfully, client(patchless) also should be of the same version.

Because of this reason, I require 1.4.11patchless client support.
I hope you got it.
Can you make me sure whether lustre1.6.4.2patchless client is compatible with lustre1.4.11server.
