[Lustre-discuss] Patchless client support for lustre 1.4.11

We have been running 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 patchless against 1.4.10.1  
for some time now in a normal production environment.

There are a few issues...

echo 0 > /proc/fs/lustre/llite/*/statahead_max

will stop a client hang where a ls -l in a directory where you are  
writing a large file.

The following bug has also been patched
