[Lustre-discuss] Root squashing in 1.6.5?

Could somebody comment on the state of the root squashing in 1.6.5? It was
meant to be there,
but the May 2008 edition of the manual does not mention it.

One would expect /proc/fs/lustre/mdt/rootsquash_uid,
/proc/fs/lustre/mdt/rootsquash_gid and
/proc/fs/lustre/mdt/rootsquash_nids to be available as of 1.6.5 (not there
so far). Or was that
postponed until 1.7?
