[Lustre-discuss] Lustreclient Kernel patches

Hi,

I also  new to this list and i send this question before but I steel had a problem, my apology.
I get some solution  to this question like, this article- http://wiki.lustre.org/index.php?title=Patchless_Client  or  look to bugzilla - bug 14250, their have patches for 2.6.23/2.6.24, but I steel can't install the client with vanilla kernel like 2.6.22.19 or 2.6.24. I try CentOS5.1 with vanilla kernel 2.6.22.19, run "./configure --with-linux=/unpatched/kernel/source" and it run O.K then run "make", "make install" and try to mount the lustre file-system. when we try it we get FATTAL error can't loud the lustre module. We get the same error when we try to do modprob lustre.
with kernel 2.6.24 we get error when we run the configure and as I undarstand from Alexey it's solve by bugzilla - bug 14250, but it's look that  in lustre 1.6.3.4 is steel had the bug.

David, Look to bugzilla - bug 14250, their have patches for 
2.6.23/2.6.24 support. patch is mostly done - except few sysctl huts. On
