I know the underlying filesystem for Lustre is ext3+extends, but I was wondering does Lustre use B-Trees in its logical layout meaning once a client tries to access its data does it actually use a btree for its access/retrieval? As a matter of fact, do most clustered parallel file system use btrees? Note: This is for an academic research project. TIA
