The source code for any release is available with the binary package
downloads.  You can also access all of the sources via CVS as documented
at http://wiki.lustre.org/index.php?title=Open_CVS

The current latest testing tags are:
b1_6 has v1_6_7_RC2
b1_8 has v1_8_0_RC1
HEAD has v1_9_130 (2.0 alpha)
