Greetings Satoshi,

I got more inodes by upgrading the size of the disk for the MDT.   I
backed up the original MDT using the procedure described in Lustre 1.6
Operations Manual (version 1.12 May 2008--not the most-recent, I
know).  After having backed up the original MDT I restored it to a
larger disk and mounted that disk with the MDT location of the
original.
