[Lustre-discuss] 2.0 Changelogs for backup

Dear all,

from what I see in bug 15699 and from my own experiments,
the changelogs feature in 2.0-alpha cannot be used for
backup at the moment as there is no way of being notified
when an existing file has changed. Is that correct or am
I overlooking something?
