[Lustre-discuss] File size in a Quota enabled MDT

I have a quick question regarding the file size (as reported by ls 
command) in the ROOT directory of MDT partition:

Are all these files supposed to be 0 size or the size of the file that 
is stored on the OST? In our installation we have a combination of 0 
byte files and really huge(few GB) spare files.

I am running lustre version 1.6.7 and using version2 quota on this MDT. 
I was able to successfully run a "lfs quotacheck" on this file system as 
well.
