[Lustre-discuss] mismatching versions between kernel and client

lustre-source-1.6.7-2.6.16.60_0.31_lustre.1.6.7_bigsmp.i686.rpm
rhel5-i686-client-lustre-1.6.7.tar.gz
rhel5-i686-lustre-1.6.7.tar.gz

It seems that the lustre and lustre-client files are nearly identical. Is there a reason to provide two files and which one should I use?
