[Lustre-discuss] Core dumps on Lustre 1.6.5

We are running Lustre 1.6.5 and we see the following behavior:

 

When we generate a core dump from an executable the core file size is 0
bytes on Lustre.

 

When we do this on our NFS filesystem on a ZFS filesystem there are no
problems, core file size is non-zero.

 

When we do this on our 1.8.1 based system in another location we don't have
this problem either.

 

Is there a setting I can set for 1.6.5 that allows core dumps?
