It's stored in the client configuration log on the MGS.

When the client mounts a filesystem, it contacts the MGS to get the
configuration for that filesystem, including service (primary and
failover) nodes for the OSTs in that filesystem.

Not as far as I recall.  You could fetch the client llog and use the
llog_reader to display it, but unless you know how the logs are written
and parsed, it probably wno't make much sense to you.
