[Lustre-discuss] Vanilla 2.6.27.31 + Lustre server 1.8.1?

I didn't add any of those patches. I was just trying to build the 
official 1.8.1 release with 2.6.27.31.

I was able to build the 2.6.7.31 kernel without any problem even though 
the patches for md-raid5 patches failed.

However, I was not able to build Lustre against the above kernel. There 
was no errors in the configure step but for the warning about quota will 
not work on OSTs > 4TB. When I tried to 'make' it failed really quickly 
at the point where it was trying to apply ext4 patches.
