[Lustre-discuss] 1.8.1 client with 1.6.7 servers

Dear list,

when I mount the Lustre filesystem from a 1.8.1 client (which
had been a 1.6.7 client before) I get the following message on 
all OSTs:
LustreError: 3877:0:(socklnd_cb.c:2228:ksocknal_recv_hello()) Unknown protocol version (2.x expected) from 192.168.2.43

There seems to be no problem using Lustre from this client, so
is this just a warning, which can be ignored?
