The Network-Based Computing Laboratory (NBCL) at the Ohio State
University (http://nowlab.cse.ohio-state.edu) is looking for a
Post-Doc/Research Scientist with expertise in parallel file systems,
MPI-IO, high performance networking technologies and protocols (such
as InfiniBand, 10GigE, iWARP and RoCE) and SSD. The candidate should
also be familiar with issues and challenges in designing middleware/
systems and carrying out performance evaluation and scalability
studies.  The candidate is expected to take a lead role in projects
related to the above-mentioned areas and work together with Ph.D. and
M.S. students in this group to carry out state-of-the-art research,
design and development including writing research publications and
proposals. A Ph.D. degree in computer science or computer engineering
is a must. A few years of experience after Ph.D. is preferred, but not
mandatory. The candidate should have good communication skill, writing
skill and team working experience.
