[Lustre-discuss] Lustre 1.8.2 quotas and setfsuid

Hello, we're running a Lustre 1.8.2 test installation on SUSE kernels and
we're having some trouble getting quotas to work for us. The quota settings
are working fine when we write directly as the user; however, when we use a
process which runs as root and calls setfsuid prior to doing write
operations, we find that the quota settings are being ignored (i.e. the
write always succeeds). Is this behvaiour intended or is there a
mis-configuration on our part? Thanks in advance for any help!
