[Lustre-discuss] Open Scalable File Systems (OpenSFS) Request for Proposals (RFP)

 Dear Lustre Community,

OpenSFS is pleased to announce a request for proposals for “OpenSFS Phase 1
Lustre development” (Solicitation Number CX589). The purpose of this RFP is
to meet the highest priority Lustre requirements gathered from the community
by the OpenSFS Technical Working Group with participation from OpenSFS
participants and non-participants alike. The results of the requirements
gathering process are available in the OpenSFS TWG Lustre Requirements

Interested offerors are advised to review the RFP documentation available at
the OpenSFS website

RFP Components:

- Proposal Preparation Instructions
- Metadata Performance and Scalability Technical Specification
- Space Quota Accounting and Enforcement Technical Specification
- Evaluation Criteria

Interested offerors are encouraged to indicate their intent to submit a
proposal no later than April 15th, 2011 via email to
proposals at lists.opensfs.org.

Full proposals are due April 22nd, 2011 at 11:59 PM EDT as detailed in the
Proposal Preparation Instructions.

Interested offerors must submit all communication (questions, comments,
etc.) to proposals at lists.opensfs.org.  While the RFP is in play, the OpenSFS
technical community will not discuss the RFP except through
proposals at lists.opensfs.org.  Regular business activities that do not
pertain to this RFP will be conducted in the normal manner.
