Hi,
i've a big problem,
please help me,
I've a lustre filesystem of about 300 TByte,
lustre version 1.8.4
currently i'm using 6 host,
the first one mount 1 lun for mgs, 1 lun for mdt and 6 lun for ost
the other 5 hosts mounts only ost
mgs lun and mdt lun are about 500 GB
every ost has the journal in another lun,
last week mdt goes full of inodes, 100% used
so, we create another lun with about 900 GB of space,
the lun was formatted with command mkfs.lustre
and we use the rsync command with -Xav option to sync the old
and the new mdt,
after that we mount the filesystem with new mdt, and if we do
the lfs df -i command we can se the right number of inodes and
the right space used, but all the files now has 0 byte and if
i do "vi" every file is empty.
the old mdt lun is corrupted an the e2fsck has erased many iondes,
so i cannot use that lun.
Is there a way to rebuild mdt catalog from ost or so?
please help me!!!
Antonio
