Thanks for copying to wc-discuss Andreas - that is definitely the best
forum to discuss Whamcloud releases.

To be honest I was a little puzzled at the mention of May 15th, as the
roadmap and presentations we give only talk about 2.1.2 coming out in Q2
and are not that specific about the exact date, but I just noticed that
the release date in JIRA had been entered as May 15th.

Sorry about any confusion here. I am obliged to enter a date when
creating new releases in JIRA (so that tickets can be registered against
them) but we don't use this during the release cycle, I only correct
this when the actual release date is known.

When I guessed at the date for 2.1.2 at the beginning of the year I did
not know at that time that we would also be doing a 1.8.x release during
Q2 and I forgot to go back and bump the date for 2.1.2 when I inserted
the extra release a couple of months later.

I have corrected this now, and I going forward I will be careful to
treat these dates as something people might expect to plan around.

Anyway, as Andreas said, we are in release testing at the moment and
will send out the release announcement to wc-discuss as soon as it is
ready and available.
