[Lustre-discuss] Metadata to Data ratio

Hi all,
I was wondering what is roughly the rate of metadata to data, ie. how
large an MDT would you need for an X size OST?

I assume it depends on the average filesize etc. (where lots of little
files need more metadata then less big files), but say worst case how
much should be allocated? Is it a factor 10, 100, 1000 or even better?
