[lustre-discuss] inactive OST from client

So I have a client that seems to have issues mounting an OST from an OSSs.
The OSS serves 3 OSTs and it is only the one OST that has issues.
Other clients mount all OSTs with no issues.

I see the following in the dmesg log on the client:
LustreError: 11-0: WORK-OST0004-osc-ffff880818985400: operation ost_connect to node 10.100.1.14 at o2ib failed: rc = -30

And from dmesg on the OSS:
LustreError: 16508:0:(tgt_lastrcvd.c:582:tgt_client_new()) WORK-OST0004: Failed to write client lcd at idx 11, rc -30

The OST from 'lfs df' on the client:
OST0004             : inactive device

The device from 'lctl dl' on the client:
  8 UP osc WORK-OST0004-osc-ffff880818985400 9cb7327b-fe08-57b2-2d2c-7f7491e9c654 5

Any ideas what the issue could be or how to troubleshoot?
