[Lustre-discuss] Issues with quota

If you do lfs quota -v -u <directory> on the questionable OST paths, do you get bad ID objects when using the commands or are they just off?

If you get errors from objects, try mounting the new OST with ldiskfs to check the IDs and/or use debugfs.

Subject: [Lustre-discuss] Issues with quota

Hi,

have activated quota on the system (2.5.3), and we have noticed that it
seems to be off by quite a bit, i.e., even if

lfs quota -u $USER /home indicates that there are a space available,
the quota prevents files from being written to disk.

We suspect that it can have to do with the fact that after quota was sat
up, one OST went down, and were later replaced.

Are there any obvious remedies in this situation?

Regards,

/jon
