Kurt,

Take a look at the command:
lfs fid2path

It takes a fid (and the file system it's on) and spits out a path.

If the files/directories have since been deleted, then there is no simple way to do this.

Subject: [lustre-discuss] disecting changelog lustre2.5.3

Hello,

I activated the changelog and allowed it to collect some data, and I'm wondering how to interpret part of it.

7270731 01CREAT 19:27:48.153432113 2015.05.27 0x0 t=[0x200001d41:0x19f7:0x0] p=[0x2000013a1:0x9:0x0] flow.xml.14088

Is there a way to tie the target and parent fids back to a specific directory?

w/r,
Kurt
