[lustre-discuss] What versions of distros are actually supported?

Sergey

The changelog on lustre.org is what we actually tested runtime behaviour for during the QE cycle for the release.

The changelog file is a superset of this with other kernels that have been proven to build in the past.

This does not guarantee that the runtime behaviour will meet the same standards of the validated kernel versions but, especially for small variations, likely will.

Overall, if someone is wanting to deploy something different it is best to test the workloads before going into full production and if working with a Lustre support vendor then check with them to see whether they will endorse the proposed configuration.

Peter
