[lustre-discuss] Issue with Lustre File System

Please help,first i am going to narrate my scenarios


MDS Node :- mds1 and mds2 (running on HA)

  File system :- /scratch and /home

 mds1 serving request for /scratch

mds 2 serving request for /home


OSS node:-

oss1 :-  serving /scratch OST

oss2:-  serving /home    OST


In MDS and OSS node pacemaker clustre is running

Now actual issue "i am not able to mount /scratch file system on loginnode,while trying to mount following error

Error:-   /scratch failed:invalid argument

this may have multiple cause "is cratch correct file system name'

are the mount option correct


To diagnose issue open /var/log/message there i found below error message

LustreError: 156-2: The client profile 'scratch-client' could not be read from the MGS.  Does that filesystem exist?

Once i login to MDS1 server and run 'dmesg" below error found



 scratch-OST0000-osc-MDT0000: operation ost_connect to node 10.20.1.53 at o2ib failed: rc = -19
IP address( 10.20.1.53 at o2ib) trying to connect is nids of oss2 which serving file system /Home./home file system having no issues.
