Thanks for such a quick reply, really appreciate it.

As you've all pointed out it looks like the DKMS route isn’t working right now as building with KMOD worked fine. This will work for me just fine.

Wrong here:

./configure --enable-server --with-zfs=/usr/src/zfs-0.8.1 --with-spl=/usr/src/spl-0.8.1

These ZFS source dirs should be create by kmod-zfs or zfs-dkms rpms.
