i'm trying to migrate a directory from one mdt to another (i have two)

so i issue

# lfs migrate -m 1 -c 1 ./dir1
Protocol error (-71)

var log messages show
LustreError: 11-0: :operation mds_reint to node failed: rc = -71

i thought maybe it was because i had many many files in the directory,
but i tried it with an empty directory and got the same error.

i've never done this before, so i'm not sure what's going on
