My first guess is that the build that picked up the wrong -devel packages.
Since most of by development builds are not done using mock, my rule of thumb is:
- Only one MOFED version installed.
- When building a zfs backend I also ensure that the build machine has only one kernel-devel package and is running the target kernel.
As long as my build machine is running the kernel/ofed/zfs that I expect to install against I have not run into install failures due to symbol verisons.
