[lustre-discuss] client /server version compatibility

Hi all.  We have a cluster that is running 2.7.   We have an available window to upgrade the clients to 2.12, although the server will remain 2.7 for now.  Is there any place that shows server /client compatibility?  Any experience in running a client so much newer than the server?  Thanks for the help in advance.
