[lustre-discuss] getting list of files and folders without OST/OSS

Dear All, is it possible to get list of files and directories from MDS
directly without OSS/OSTs. I am having some power issues and could not
fireup OSS/OSTs but wanna query for few files directly from MDS . .

is that possible ? and how plz advice
