[lustre-discuss] what is the quickest way to correct lfs quota reported space usage?

Hi, all:

We run into the problem that one user deleted all its files but lfs quota
still show this user used 400G+ space. We guess there is some deviation in
quota statistics, and the command quotacheck seem to be able to recalculate
space usage. But quotacheck need to be run during lustre not alive, which
means we need to interrupt platform business.

Our lustre has 3G+ inode and 10P data, so quotacheck may need 30+ hours to
scan the filesystem. Such a break time is too long for production
environment.

So is there any more agile solution to correct the space usage statistics
from lfs quota? Maybe only correct for a specific user?
