If you look in the mentioned thread I wrote a patch for it. It was long time ago I thought somebody could have fixed it already

Here is my post about this issue

Hello,
I has been a while since I installed Lustre ZFS and I am working to get 2.12.8 Lustre ZFS going on a basic system.

The lib* spl* and zfs* packages all install with DKMS with no issue.

lustre-zfs-dkms-2.12.8_6_g5457c37-1.el7.noarch.rpm does not want to install:
The root issues seems to be a zfs-devel package is missing from https://downloads.whamcloud.com/public/lustre/latest-2.12-release/el7/server/RPMS/x86_64/ ?
   Any ideas?
