[lustre-discuss] Ubuntu 20.04 Lustre Client

Hello!

I have been adapting instructions for building a lustre master client on Debian 10.1.0 from Git<https://wiki.whamcloud.com/display/PUB/Build+Lustre+MASTER+client+on+Debian+10.1.0+from+Git> to build a lustre client for ubuntu 20.04. The supporting details are below:
os_version: ubuntu server 20.04
kernel_version: 5.4.0-124-generic
ofed_version: 5.6-2.0.9
mellanox_card: mt27800 family connectx-5
lustre version 2.14

I am able to follow/adapt the instructions without errors until I get to 'make debs -j $(nproc)'. At this point I get the following error:
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build subprocess returned exit status 2
cp: cannot stat '/control.bkp': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat '/control.main.bkp': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat '/control.modules.in.bkp': No such file or directory
make: *** [autoMakefile:1211: debs] Error 2

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated it!

I can provide the complete output if necessary (its quite long, this was about 4 minutes into compilation).
