[lustre-discuss] [EXTERNAL] ran out of MDT inodes

Morning Rick!

At first we were planning to do that. However, we weren't sure if that
would capture all the internal Lustre data. Specifically the note in 18.3.1
about index backups made us think it wouldn't for version 2.10.X. Also the
fact that ldiskfs backups and LVM snapshots are detailed in the manual but
ZFS snapshots are not caused us to think they wouldn't work, at least with
our older lustre version. Maybe we were taking things too literally. Would
a ZFS snapshot contain all the Lustre data?
