[lustre-discuss] lfs migrate file length truncate

We have noticed an ongoing problem when migrating 100GB files.  Both lfs
migrate and lfs_migrate yield a new file output size of 2GB.  Is this a
known issue?

Our current workaround is to pull each full file down to a local client
disk, update pool locations, and then re-insert the file into the lustre
system.

Server version: 2.15.1
Client version: 2.14.52_47_g04b2da6

(Due to some compatibility issues on the client side, we have not been able
to move to 2.15.1.)
