Yes, we are planning to release a 2.15.7 release once RHEL 9.6 is GA and that fix is already merged on the b2_15 branch so will be included.

Subject: [lustre-discuss] Fix for LU-18085 for lustre 2.15.6 / EL9.5?

At the moment the only lustre version supporting EL9.5 (clients) is 2.15.6. Yet the fix for https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-18085 is only in 2.16.0. Is there any plan for a 2.15 release incorporating this fix please?
