[lustre-discuss] Cannot git clone lustre

Dear All,
git clone does not work for me since days:

$ git clone git://git.whamcloud.com/fs/lustre-release.git
Cloning into 'lustre-release'...
fatal: unable to connect to git.whamcloud.com:
git.whamcloud.com[0: 104.21.48.246]: errno=Connection timed out
git.whamcloud.com[1: 172.67.138.245]: errno=Connection timed out
git.whamcloud.com[2: 2606:4700:3030::ac43:8af5]: errno=Network is unreachable
git.whamcloud.com[3: 2606:4700:3031::6815:30f6]: errno=Network is unreachable

are there other ways to get 2.15.8 ?
