I’ve had issues with software that used POSIX file locking calls with Lustre 1.6 ... the same thing worked on Lustre 1.4, but I suspect it just failed transparently and didn’t actually involve any recording locking. Never saw it panic anything, though, but I know that 1.6 doesn’t support locking (yet).<BR>

I attached the lustre-log.<BR>

What could cause this problem? The reason, I wanted to use flock is<BR>
there are some softwares, which cannot save files by various reasons<BR>
on the cluster share (for example MS O2K3, Project 2K7).<BR>

But as I can see, right now doesn't matter, it is a notepad, or a<BR>
Project 2K7.<BR>

Cluster's version is 1.6.4.1 and 1.6.0.1 and I tested this with<BR>
1.6.4.1 and 1.6.2.<BR>

What can I do?<BR>
