<div>Sounds like you need to have NIS configured correctly. The MDS and the clients all need to have the same user list in order for permissions to work correctly.</div>

<div>I have installed Lustre 2.8 and I am able to mount lustre on my client properly.</div>
<div>I have mounted fsname=lustre00 on /home. </div>
<div>I created a user luser1 (for test)</div>
<div>but when I try to logon I get the following error message</div>
