<b>Subject: </b>[lustre-discuss] Network configuration in heterogeneous cluster<br>
<br>
</div>
<div class="PlainText" style="font-size: 11pt;">Hi,<br>
<br>
I have a heterogeneous cluster and the interface names are therefore different on different nodes. For easier maintenance, I would like to continue booting them from the same disk image. The only thing I can't figure out is how to deal with lnet kernel module
options.<br>
<br>
In one case I want them to be<br>
<br>
options lnet networks="o2ib0(ibs5),tcp0(eno1)"<br>
<br>
In the other case, they should be<br>
<br>
options lnet networks="o2ib0(ibp3s0),tcp0(enp6s0)"<br>
<br>
Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this?<br>
<br>
Thank you!<br>
Hanno<br>
