[lustre-discuss] lustre-2.15.8 at Debian

Hello,

We installed Lustre-2.15.8 in Deiban-12.14, using Debian default
(up-to-date) kernel.

To build Lustre-2.15.8:

- Install necessary packages:
  apt
install libyaml-dev uuid-dev libblkid-dev libnl-3-dev libudev-dev
libkeyutils-dev libmount-dev libnl-genl-3-dev

  Please note that you also need to install gcc, make, linux-headers-amd64,
... etc.

- After untar the Lustre-2.15.8 source code (suppose you do not have
infiniband network):
  cd lustre-2.15.8
  ./configure
--prefix=/opt/lustre --with-linux=/usr/src/linux-headers-<version>/
--with-o2ib=no --disable-server --disable-tests --enable-mpitests=no
  make
  make install
