<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">We have discovered that for at least one user, there is a large discrepancy between the number of files reported by various utilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I\u2019ve read through the archives and found that the discrepancy could be due to files being deleted which are still open. However, it\u2019s unclear to me in lustre how to determine which files might be in this
state or how to clean this up. Could anyone here give me some tips on how to troubleshoot/resolve this discrepancy?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
