[Lustre-discuss] clients and OST with different NID

Hi all,

I'm trying to set up a lustre fs where OST servers and clients share the same  
node. I use aliases for IPs - i.e. the real IP is 192.168.2.17 on eth0 and 
the alias is 192.168.2.117 on eth0:0.  Is it possible for clients to have a 
different NID from their OST? I mean, to connect OST via eth0:0 
(192.168.2.117 at tcp) and client via eth0 (192.168.2.17 at tcp)
