[Lustre-discuss] Announce: Lustre 2.0 Alpha6 is available!

Hi all,

We are pleased to announce that Lustre 2.0 Alpha6 is available for download.
This is our sixth step in a series of milestone based pre-releases as we
move towards Lustre 2.0 GA. New milestone releases will be planned for
every 4-6 weeks until GA.

Alpha Milestone Criteria:
    * Supported Servers: RHEL5 & OEL5 x86_64
    * Supported Clients: RHEL5, OEL5, SLES10, & SLES11 i686 & x86_64
    * Basic functional and recovery testing is passing consistently
    * IOR and Simul exercised up to 200 clients
    * 1.8 -> 2.0 upgrades tested
    * Quotas tested
    * Interoperability unsupported in Alpha releases
