Doesn't Oracle usually want a raw block device?  i.e. no filesystem on
it?  That would for the most part preclude Lustre.  Certainly you could
create a large file on Lustre and loopback mount it and give that to
Oracle, but I'm sceptical that it will deliver the kind of performance
that Lustre as a filesystem can deliver -- which presumably is why
Lustre is being considered here.
