The 12th annual Lustre User Group (LUG) conference, the primary event for
technical presentations and discussions on the Lustre parallel file system
and other open source file system technologies, is being held in Miami,
Florida, from April 8-10, 2014. Doing something interesting with Lustre?
Pushing the boundaries? We'd love to have you involved!

Call for Papers

OpenSFS relies on the real world experience of the open source Lustre
community members to provide valuable sessions to LUG attendees. We're
pleased to extend a call for papers to solicit topics from Lustre users.

The LUG planning committee is looking for insight into best practices in
deploying Lustre, case studies by Lustre users, and experiences from members
of the business community who rely on Lustre. We are also looking for
presentations related to specific development challenges, new feature
development, project updates, edge-case implementations, and more.

All LUG presentations will be 30 minutes, with a total of 30 speaking
opportunities available. We encourage you to review the agendas and caliber
of presentations at past LUG events <http://www.opensfs.org/past-events/> .
To submit an abstract, please visit the LUG 2014 Call for Papers web page
<http://www.opensfs.org/lug-2014-call-papers/> . Submission deadline is
January 31, 2014.

Panel Discussions

Panel discussions are the ideal forum for hearing from leading developers,
vendors, and users of Lustre as they debate future requirements, explore
upcoming enhancements, and share real world best practices. If you'd like to
suggest a topic for a panel discussion - or be part of a panel, please
contact admin at opensfs.org <mailto:panelist at opensfs.org> .

Sponsorships

If your company is interested in sponsoring LUG 2014 - reaching more than
200+ focused Lustre attendees - OpenSFS has a number of sponsorship
opportunities available. Please visit the LUG 2014 sponsorship
<http://www.opensfs.org/lug-2014-sponsorship/> web page for additional
information.

With the ongoing growth and outstanding progress of the Lustre community,
LUG 2014 promises to be an exciting and informative event! We look forward
to seeing you in Miami!
